Author Guidelines

Papers submitted for publication must be written in English.

The paper should normally be around 5000-6000 words in length (excluding bibliography), though shorter pieces are also welcome.

Papers should be accompanied by an abstract of approximately 250 words and up to 5 keywords at the beginning of the paper.

References should follow the referencing system of the American Psychological Association (6th edition – see style guide).

Other style-related matters include:

  • submitting papers in Times New Roman, 12 point, A4 page size, 1.5 spaced
  • using ‘per cent’ rather than ‘%’ in the text
  • using British spelling conventions
  • using double quotation marks except for quotes within quotes
  • not using headers and footers; endnotes can be used to clarify some contextual or factual issues but should be used in moderation
  • headlines should be bolded and numbered
  • inserting a single line between paragraphs, with 0 spacing before and after

Papers should include:

  • Title
  • Author/s and their contact details (mail, email and contact phone number)
  • Affiliation/s
  • Abstract
  • Key words
  • Biographical note (3-5 sentences)

Contributions should be submitted online at

We look forward to reading your submissions!
